- Your B-Form (CRC) — if this is your first CNIC at 18.آپ کا ب فارم — اگر یہ اٹھارہ سال پر آپ کا پہلا شناختی کارڈ ہے۔
- Both parents’ CNICs — originals. A photocopy is routinely refused for a first card.والدین دونوں کے اصل شناختی کارڈ — پہلے کارڈ کے لیے فوٹو کاپی عموماً قبول نہیں کی جاتی۔
- Your old CNIC — for renewal or correction, even if expired.آپ کا پرانا شناختی کارڈ — تجدید یا درستگی کے لیے، خواہ میعاد ختم ہو چکی ہو۔

Start the applicationدرخواست شروع کریں
Either begin on the Pak-ID service and fill the form at home, or walk into a NADRA Registration Centre and start at the counter. Watch out. Dozens of lookalike sites sell “NADRA forms”. NADRA’s own domain ends in .gov.pk. If a site asks for card details to “book an appointment”, leave it. - 2

Give fingerprints and photoفنگر پرنٹ اور تصویر
Done at the counter: ten fingerprints, a photograph and a signature. This is the part that cannot be done online, by anyone, for any fee.کاؤنٹر پر دس انگلیوں کے نشان، تصویر اور دستخط لیے جاتے ہیں۔ یہ مرحلہ کسی بھی قیمت پر آن لائن ممکن نہیں۔
Mehndi, and worn fingerprints. Fresh henna or heavy manual work can stop the scanner reading your prints. Labourers and farmers are often asked to come back. Avoid henna for a few days before you go. - 4

Three categories — Normal, Urgent and Executive — differ in price and delivery time. Pay at the counter or online and keep the receipt token number; it is how you track the card.تین کیٹیگریز — نارمل، اَرجنٹ، ایگزیکٹو — قیمت اور وقت میں مختلف ہیں۔ رسید کا ٹوکن نمبر سنبھال کر رکھیں۔
Why no number here. We checked nine websites quoting NADRA’s fee and they gave four different answers. We will not add a fifth. The counter and NADRA’s own site are the only figures worth trusting. - 5
Track it, then collectٹریک کریں اور وصول کریں
Your token number tracks the card by SMS. Delivery is by post to the address on the form, or collection at the centre. - A name spelled differently on two documents.If your matric certificate says “Muhammad” and your B-Form says “Mohammad”, expect the application to stall. Fix the spelling on the school record first — that is the slower half of the job, and no agent can skip it.دو دستاویزات پر نام کے مختلف ہجے۔اگر میٹرک کے سرٹیفکیٹ اور ب فارم پر ہجے مختلف ہوں تو درخواست رک جائے گی۔ پہلے اسکول کے ریکارڈ میں ہجے درست کروائیں — یہی کام زیادہ وقت لیتا ہے اور کوئی ایجنٹ اسے چھوڑ نہیں سکتا۔
- Parents’ CNICs expired, or a parent deceased.For a first card the parents’ records must exist in the system. If a parent has died, you need their death registration, not just their old card.والدین کے کارڈ کی میعاد ختم، یا کسی کا انتقال۔پہلے کارڈ کے لیے والدین کا ریکارڈ سسٹم میں موجود ہونا ضروری ہے۔ کسی کا انتقال ہو چکا ہو تو صرف پرانا کارڈ نہیں، وفات کا اندراج درکار ہے۔
- Assuming an agent is faster.The Executive category is NADRA’s own fast track and it is open to everyone at the counter.
